Skintight is a brand that strays from the average and strives to provide cutting edge trends and promote innovative personal style. I looked to street style and graffiti to get the a feel of rough sophistication.
2012 Media Kit
As the Art Director at the
Minnesota Daily, I lead the design team to create this year's Media Kit. I focused on usability over everything else, and allowed this principle to create a beautiful and inspired final design.
I worked closely with our sales staff to be sure their wants and needs were met. I also sifted through past media kits to find where small changes could have a big impact on under- standing content ("Advertising Production
Team" becomes "In-House Design" and the client has a clearer picture of what we provide) as well as having fun with content (a friendly "Hello" greets the client on the first page).
The New Design Minor
Working with the College of Design Deans, this identity was created to appeal to potential Design Minor applicants who are mainly Art, Engineering, Journalism and Business students.
These majors are fairly distinct, so focusing how design thinking enriches all education maintains a message that draws in each audience group.

Daytoday focuses on making people’s lives simpler and healthier by creating natural and effective products that take the thinking out of your bodycare routine. Also, with a sustainable
recycling program, daytoday shows it cares about more than just soft skin, clean faces, and fresh smelling bodies.

My graduating class iss full of individuals. We all have different tastes, aesthetics and favorite pens, but we all have a passion and a love for design. Imprints is about making our mark both as a group of talented individuals as well as on our own.
